How I Got Here

The joke was that I always had my hands on my friends. It was rewarding to be able to help them relax or to relieve some sort of discomfort.I found that I could work on someone for a couple of hours without getting tired.
Eventually, I attended the Swedish Institute, studying an assortment of massage techniques plus anatomy, physiology, neurology, pathology and a lot of other "ologies" that are essential for a New York State license in massage therapy.
Since obtaining my license in 2003 I have devoted many, many hours to continuing education courses, expanding and increasing my knowledge and sklls. I still prefer to work in what I call long-form massage, taking a couple of hours to convince my client's body that it can achieve a better, healthier state. And once the body believes in its new condition, it will maintain that state longer.
Massage is my passion and my joy.
